Q: How did you get involved with Healing Touch for Animals®?
A: My wife is a Healing Touch Program Certified Practitioner (HTPCP) and I became involved with Healing Touch for Animals® through her. I really wanted to do something in the animal field, so after I found out that the Healing Touch Program was also available for animals, I signed up for the HTA Level 1 course online. It was so satisfying to see how energy balance and healing works on animals. HTA offers such a wonderful opportunity to make life easier for animals and their owners, helping them with recovery and in their everyday life.
Q: How do you stay engaged with your HTA practice?
A: My wife already has a treatment room that she uses for Healing Touch in our house and I am currently rearranging parts of my office so I can support small animals there. We are also working on a joint website to so people can contact us directly for support for people and animals. I stay engaged with the HTA community by attending the monthly mentorship calls. I have also joined several of the live, online group learning opportunities that HTA offers annually for Levels 1-3. You get even more support, ideas and help in the monthly mentorship calls as well as through the Healing Touch for Animals® Student Group on Facebook and the European WhatsApp group. I am very grateful for this, because you always learn something new that can be applied in your own practice — and you get support when you have questions.
Q: What is your favorite HTA technique?
A: I cannot decide which one I would call my favorite, but after completing the HTA Level 4 course, Hara Repair and Balance™ and Chakra-Hara Anchor™ are definitely two of my favorites. I would put the Bridging™ method as number three on my list. The best thing about these techniques is that they can also be applied remotely, so you can support animals, no matter where they are.
Q: What has been the most rewarding part of HTA for you?
A: I like that I have been able to benefit from both online and in person courses. The benefit of online classes is that you can review the videos and details at any time. The benefit of in-person courses is that, in addition to getting hands-on experience with the techniques, you also get to interact with a wonderful group of HTA practitioners. Learning HTA was a great decision for me and it has allowed me to support animals and their owners. I am happy every time I see how the techniques work. Energy work is so important these days and in these challenging times. HTA offers wonderful support for animals and their owners. Once you start practicing HTA, your point of view on everything changes.
