HenriĆ«tte is a Healing Touch for AnimalsĀ® Certified Practitioner (HTACP) and an instructor for HTA Levels 1-4 in the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Q: How did you get involved with Healing Touch for AnimalsĀ®?
A: After taking a Healing Touch program class in 2004, I learned that Carol Komitor was coming to the Netherlands to teach a Level 1 Healing Touch for AnimalsĀ® course. I signed up for that class right away, because all kind of animals, especially horses, are an important part of my life. During that first class I recognized HTA would have a big impact on my future.
Since that first class, I’ve traveled to the United States several times to attend the upper levels of HTA. I became a coordinator for Europe in 2006, and an HTACP in 2010. That same year, I decided to leave my corporate job to start my private practice, Pets & People,Ā and launched my Young Living business,Ā VitaLeven. As an HTA Level 1-4 instructor for Europe, I love to share my passion with the students in the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Q: How are you using HTA in your personal or professional life?
A: I use HTA and essential oils every day. For clients (animals and humans) in my practice, for myself, my horse, and the other animals at the barn. Putting on essential oils and doing a meditation is my favorite routine to start my day. During the evening, I use the OM tuners to ease sore muscles.
Q: What is your favorite HTA technique?
A: Itās almost impossible to choose one technique, but I love the AP2 technique God’s Eyeā¢. I use Chakra Balanceā¢ and Core Actualizationā¢ a lot, too.
Q: What has been the most rewarding part of HTA for you?
A: For me, the most rewarding part of HTA is to be able to help animals and people on a different level. The holistic approach of solving an issue is sometimes a challenge, but very rewarding when there is a deeper understanding and connection established between the animal(s) and caregiver. As an HTA Instructor, I love to see how the students grow in their awareness and confidence to work with the HTA techniques. I feel that through the HTA courses, many students are encouraged to pursue personal development too. We all create a ripple effect that makes the world a little better.
