Lauren Oxman is a Level 2 Healing Touch for Animals® Practitioner in the Shorewood area of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Follow the link to hear more about what techniques she uses to support her animals and the animals she works with using HTA.
Q: How did you get involved with Healing Touch for Animals?
A: I got involved with HTA from my friend Dana Brady, who I met through an animal communication class. I’m a quantum energy healer for humans already. Due to my own dogs’ (Talulah and Bruno) health journeys, I was looking for more tools in my healing tool belt to help my own puppies. My hope was to be able to help other animal friends and their guardians, too. That was when Dana recommended I check out HTA.
Q: How are you using HTA in your personal or professional life?
A: Through my training with HTA, I’ve been able to help my puppy Bruno heal after an emergency spinal surgery, bladder surgery, and other tummy issues he has had. He is now able to run and he is back to his four-year-old happy self. To be very honest, we didn’t think that was possible.
Q: What is your favorite HTA technique?
A: I would have to say my favorite technique is Magnetic Clearing™. I like to pair that with Bridging™ because that has helped my puppy, Bruno, so much. It has also helped other animals I offer services for. That has been a game changer.
Q: How do you stay engaged with your HTA practice?
A: I definitely stay engaged with my HTA practice by using the techniques weekly — either on myself, my own puppy, or in healing sessions for people. I also make sure to sign up for the Monthly Mentorship call with Carol. Even if I’m not able to make the live call, I watch the replay. There are so many great questions and answers on all different types of concerns from everyone and it’s such valuable learning opportunity. I also recommend joining the HTA Student Facebook group to connect, share, and learn from others.
Q: What has been the most rewarding part of HTA for you?
A: Being able to help Bruno has been a very rewarding part of HTA for him, myself, and our family. It has also been very rewarding to meet so many soul-aligned friends at the classes. Every time we’re together, it builds upon that beautiful foundation of helping not only animals but each other — we all grow closer. It’s a true blessing to connect with more humans and realize the beauty of how we’re here to assist all species through HTA. I am beyond grateful to Carol Komitor and my HTA family for helping me to be able to serve in a bigger way for all.
