This week, two separate conversations reminded me of something worth reiterating. In both cases, beloved pets were in serious distress — and in both cases, their owners were turning to Healing Touch for Animals® without also seeking veterinary support.
This is a good time to remind ourselves that HTA and veterinary care are partners, not alternatives to one another. One of the many benefits of the work we do is that when an animal’s energy system is balanced, their body is better positioned to support its own healing. That is real and valuable. And skilled veterinary care — diagnosis, treatment, and medical intervention — is equally essential when an animal truly needs it.
These two approaches are meant to work together. One supports the energetic body, while the other addresses the physical body. HTA supports the “cooperative approach” of animal healthcare by using both traditional veterinary care and holistic energy therapy, providing the best for the animal.
If your animal is unwell, please reach out to your veterinarian. Keep doing the energy work you do so well — and let the two work hand in hand.
Grateful for your big hearts,
